Viewing help

To playback a Virtual Tour your computer requires either Java -OR- Apple's QuickTime. If you do not have either you will not be able to view content. See links to installers below.

Your viewing preference automatically depending on your Operating System. Any Macintosh is set to QuickTime, all other operating systems are set to Java. This is a very simplistic approach to a complicated problem but will ensure that the maximum number of users can view virtual tours. Non-Macintosh users who have QuickTime installed are encouraged to reset their viewing preferences to QuickTime.

You will find a link to change your viewing preference on all Virtual tour pages.

We use a cookie to store viewing preferences for non-default viewers, therefore your browser must accept cookies to ensure your viewing preference sticks.

Your viewing preference are currently set to

default value (see above)

About QuickTime

QuickTime is the preferred viewer and is available for both Windows and Macintosh operating systems.

You can check to see if QuickTime is installed in 2 easy steps, at this Apple Web page.

Install QuickTime Mac OS X: 19MB
Mac OS 8.6/9: 10MB
Windows: 11MB

About Java

Java is pre installed into just about all operating systems so it's a good choice for default playback.

Java is suggested for all other operating systems and is a much smaller download than QuickTime.

install Java Download approximately 1.3 MB

Special Thanks to Helmut Dersch for creating the incredible PanoTools and PT Viewer. See the links page for more information.
